The Aburame, while seemingly unfeeling, were extremely protective of their kin, and Rin was certainly no different. The minute she had collapsed at the village gates after that strenuous mission, the whole clan seemed to be on the scene. She was taken with great haste to the hospital, and since then Rin had only seen her relatives.
“Akamaru was pretty worried about you, ya know?” The canine in question barked in delight at the sight of the girl, and bounded over to the bed. Kiba ran after the dog in protest as her started Attacking Rin’s face with licks, but hearing her laughter stopped his pursuit.
“A-Akamaru, you’re ticking me!” She cried.
“ARF, ARF!” The huge dog barked in response, happy to be near her. Truth be told, the dog had sensed that Kiba seemed a bit bummed out lately, and Akamaru had assumed it had something to do with Rin being in the hospital.
COM: VATR-TeamAt first, there had been animosity. For both of them looking back, it had been really dumb. They had been horrible to Van, who had just been placed on their team.COM: VATR-Team by Brookie-tan
The first time that Van had called them out on their bullshit had been at the mention of Yukio and Conall. Team CAMY lived across the hall from them and while they got along fine with Murasaki and Arianwynn, the two women had never given nice thoughts towards the men.
“It’s like living near a zoo.” Aideen bluntly remarked, and Van had stiffened up. Thara eyed the blonde, and took a smoke of her pipe.
“Is there something wrong, Van?” Aideen looked over in confusion, not seeing the tension between the other two. Oh dear, had she said something wrong?
Later, she would look back and realize that yes; she had said something totally wrong. However, Aideen had grown up with so much racism around her, that saying what she had said was natural. Nevertheless that did not excuse her behavior at that time.
